Terms of Service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
0. Current status: pre-launch
Prepaid Concierge is a technology platform in development. The purchasing service described below is not currently operating. We are not charging cards, holding funds, or providing virtual payment cards. What this site currently offers is the ability to tell us which merchant and amount you would want to pay, so we can contact you if and when the service launches. Sections 2 through 8 describe the service as we intend it to work and will apply once it is live.
1. What we do
PrepaidConcierge (“we,” “us”) is a technology and purchasing platform. We are not a bank and we do not issue payment cards. The service is being designed so that you can fund a single-use virtual payment card for a specific purchase from a specific merchant. Virtual payment cards will be provided through regulated financial institutions and card-program partners. We are working with these partners to establish the appropriate payment and compliance infrastructure.
2. How the service is intended to work
- You tell us the merchant, the purchase amount, and what you are buying.
- You fund the purchase with an eligible card through our payment partner, for that amount plus our service fee.
- Once funding clears, a virtual payment card is provided to you, configured for the authorized amount and the merchant you named.
- You complete the purchase with the merchant yourself.
Eligible funding card types will depend on our payment and banking partners and will be disclosed before you fund a purchase.
3. Fees
Our service fee is disclosed to you before you pay and is added to the amount you load. Fees are earned when the virtual card is issued and are non-refundable except as described in Section 6.
4. Eligibility & acceptable use
You must be at least 18 and use the service only for lawful payments to legitimate merchants for your own obligations. You may not use the service for money laundering, to move funds you are not entitled to, to pay for prohibited or illegal goods, or to circumvent a merchant’s or card issuer’s rules. We may request identity verification and may refuse, hold, or reverse any transaction we believe is fraudulent, unauthorized, or non-compliant.
5. Card restrictions
Each virtual card is designed to be single-use, limited to the authorized amount, and restricted to the one merchant you named. It is intended to decline elsewhere. The service is not designed for cash withdrawal, ATM access, or peer-to-peer transfers. You are responsible for entering the card details correctly and completing your purchase before the card expires.
6. Refunds & failed payments
If a virtual card is never used, you may request a refund of the loaded amount, less non-recoverable processing costs and our service fee. If a merchant refunds the virtual card, we will return recovered funds to your original card where possible. We are not responsible for merchant disputes, late fees, or service interruptions on the merchant’s side.
7. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback on funds you authorized and that were used to pay a merchant on your behalf may be treated as a breach of these terms. Talk to us first — we will work to resolve any issue.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the service fee you paid for the transaction at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here. Questions: jamie@adaptensor.com.
